Bodyweight Categories & Divisions
Youth:
12 years old and under (8 years old is youngest allowed): scoring based on Sinclair
13-17 years old:
Men (6): -55kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 75kg, +75kg
Women (8): 45kg, 49kg, 53kg, 57kg, 61kg, 69kg, 77kg, +77kg
*Youth from the age of 15 are able to compete in the Open Division but are subject to an extra entry fee to sign up for the aforementioned Divisions.
Open/Overall:
Men (8): 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 75kg, 85kg, 95kg, 110kg, +110kg
Women (8): 49kg, 53kg, 57kg, 61kg, 69kg, 77kg, 86kg, +86kg
*Open Division can consist of athletes from age 15 and up but must settle all entry fees to compete in the aforementioned Divisions
Masters: Sinclair
Men (4): 35-39yo, 40-44yo, 45-49yo, +50yo
Women (4): 35-39yo, 40-44yo, 45-49yo, +50yo
*Master’s athletes who plan to compete in the Master's division MUST also be registered in the Open/Overall Division and settle all entry fees to compete. All Master's registrations are AUTOMATICALLY registered in the Open/Overall division - Master's category scores AUTOMATICALLY reflect in the Open/Overall division.
Awards
Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be awarded for the Top 3 athletes scored based on Sinclair for the 12 and under category.
Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be awarded in Total ONLY for each bodyweight category.
Team Trophies will be awarded to the Best Teams respectively for both men’s and women’s competitions in accordance with the IWF Sinclair Team Classification.
Trophies will be awarded to the Best Lifter in the men’s and women’s events.
